In cooperation with the City of Geneva and the Republic and Canton of Geneva, Green Cross International presents its photo exhibition on Quai Wilson and which will last until 30th of September.

The objectve of this photo exhibition is to provide a solutions-oriented message and to prepare the  "Green and Inclusive Economy" conference that Green Cross and the State of Geneva are organizing with the objective of sending a strong message from Geneva, the city hosting the world's largest environment network (GEN) to the December COP21 Climate Conference in Paris.

Global Water Solidarity est heureux d'annoncer que dans le cadre de ses activités en tant que promoteur et animateur des solidarités décentralisées pour l'eau, la Communauté d'agglomération de Saint-Omer, en collaboration avec l'Agence de l'Eau Artois Picardie cofinancera la mise en œuvre d'un projet au niveau local pour améliorer les conditions d'eau et d'assainissement dans la région d'Issyk-Kul du Kirghizistan. Le projet qui sera mis en œuvre par notre partenaire Women in Europe for a Common Future (WECF) a été identifié suite à une étude au niveau local développé en 2014 par GWS et ses partenaires.

Daegu, Rep. of Korea, 12th-17th April 2015

During the VII World Water Forum (Daegu, Rep. of Korea) GWS officially granted the Certificate for Decentralized Water Solidarity to pS-Eau, one of its founding and most active members.

The certificate acknowledges and recognizes pS-Eau full compliance with the GWS' territorial approach criteria and principles within their local level scope of activities and projects.

Daegu, Rep. of Korea, 12th-17th April 2015

Global Water Solidarity (GWS) convened on behalf of UNDP a thematic session carrying the title 'Innovative financing for small and decentralized water and sanitation operators and actors', Being the only thematic session dedicated to the local level decentralized financing in water and sanitation sector. The GWS is especially proud of having as the speaker of honor the EU Commissioner for the International Cooperation and Development, Mr. Neven Mimica who emphasized a firm institutional support by the EU Commission for the scope of its local level activities, underlining the great potential of the innovative solidarity financing for water supply and sanitation sector.
